Who operates this website

Rock & Lamp Press is the publishing business operated by Jason Garrison in Alberta, Canada. Contact us at hello@rockandlamppress.ca or 780-224-2469.

Current launch status

The website provides free Christian resources, information about our books, book previews, email signup and inquiry forms. Book purchasing and pre-orders are not currently available. A book preview, email signup or inquiry is not an order, reservation or payment agreement.

We do not offer paid subscriptions. The planned physical-book sales launch is Canada only, with orders fulfilled by Rock & Lamp Press. International sales are not available at launch. Product information may appear before a book is available to buy.

Free resources and their purpose

The core free-help resources do not require a purchase or email signup. They offer Scripture-based reflection, prayer and general practical encouragement. They are not individualized medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice and do not replace appropriate professional care or emergency services.

We do not promise a particular spiritual, health, financial or other outcome from reading a resource or using a book. Please consider your circumstances and seek qualified help when a decision requires it.

Urgent help and professional care

If someone’s life or immediate safety is at risk in Canada, call 911. For suicide-related support in Canada, call 988 or text 988. Outside Canada, use local emergency and crisis services.

Reading a resource, using a book or sending an inquiry does not establish a healthcare, counselling, legal or financial advisory relationship with Rock & Lamp Press. Do not delay needed care, stop prescribed treatment or attempt withdrawal because of website content. Spiritual and pastoral support can accompany qualified professional care.

Using and sharing our material

You may read the free pages, share links to them and save or print them for your own personal use. Where we provide an approved download, follow any usage notice included with it. This permission does not authorize commercial resale, republication of whole resources, alteration of book artwork or removal of copyright notices.

Original writing, design, logos and artwork belong to Rock & Lamp Press or their respective rights holders. Scripture translations and other third-party material remain subject to their own copyright and permission conditions. Nothing here limits uses permitted by applicable law. Contact us about church, classroom, ministry or other reproduction beyond personal use.

Responsible website use

Please do not use the website or its forms for unlawful activity, harassment, impersonation, unsolicited bulk messages, malicious software or attempts to interfere with the site or access information without permission.

When contacting us, provide information reasonably needed for your inquiry. Do not send payment-card details, medical records or another person’s private information through an inquiry form. Our inbox and forms are not monitored as an emergency service.

Email signup, inquiries and privacy

Email signup is voluntary. An inquiry does not by itself subscribe you to marketing emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails or contact us for help. Information submitted through the website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

The website is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and relevant service providers support hosting, forms and other website functions. See the Privacy Policy for information about those services and available privacy choices.

Book information and future purchases

We aim to describe books and previews accurately and may correct errors or update availability information. Cover and interior previews identify the material being presented; the final available edition and its specifications will be identified before a purchase is offered.

Before ordering opens, we will publish the applicable prices in Canadian dollars, delivery information, shipping charges, return and refund terms, payment options and order conditions. Those details are not established by this website-launch draft. Our Shipping Policy and Return/Refund Policy must be finalized before sales open. A ministry or bulk-order inquiry is not a confirmed order.

Other websites and availability

Links to external websites are provided where they may be useful. Those websites have their own content, terms and privacy practices. We do not control their availability or updates.

Website functions may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. If a form does not work, email or telephone us using the contact details above.

Your rights and questions

Nothing in these terms takes away consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose a mandatory arbitration process or require you to waive statutory remedies.

If you have a concern about the website or our material, please contact us with enough detail for us to understand it. We may revise these terms as the website or business changes and will identify the revision date. Sales will require a further review before purchasing is enabled.
